Founded in 2000, Post 2K is the husband-wife creative team of Chinmi Kim and Eric Kuehnapfel. We are members of the media post-production community who use digital tools to explore the aesthetic depths of our clients wishes, producing editorial and motion graphic content for commercial, educational, broadcast and corporate promotional videos. Our combined experience spans the markets of Los Angeles to New York City, from big facilities to high-end boutiques, and we each claim over twenty-five years of dedicated service to the creation of powerful imagery. We are the ideal compliment of expertise; designer and editor, art director and compositor, 2D artist and 3D animator. Working individually or collaboratively, we are the two “K”s in Post 2K.

WHO WE ARE

We take an idea and transform it into visual reality. We listen to objectives and turn thoughts into a tangible series of images. We design frames, test picture sequences, review scripts, research music, acquire and edit video, generate 2D and 3D graphic elements, cull stock footage, select takes, edit more video and experiment with special effects to achieve an appropriate look, action or feeling. Then we put it all together into a fluid, dynamic visual presentation. Our final product can be rendered in multiple resolutions depending on its ultimate destination; TV, web, post PC or multimedia presentation. It is a broad and at the same time in-depth process that crosses all spectrums of media. It is imagery in motion designed to connect an idea into understanding.
